Ahoy there! This pirate themed party kit is another favorite of ours! By now you've probably noticed that we have many favorites. Haha! But really, we had a great time styling this party kit, and we’re excited to share it with you today on the blog!
We truly draw inspiration from everywhere. I’d say that the best place to start is to look at your favorite items in the house. If you’re planning for a kid's birthday party, finding inspiration in the playroom is a great place to start.Sophie came up with the idea of curating a pirate themed party kit. When she told me about it, I couldn’t picture a “fun-and-not-too-scary” party kit for a kid’s birthday party. But one day, I saw a pirate boat that belonged to her son, Liam, displayed in his playroom, and I thought it would be a good idea to use it to style a party kit. And while I was looking for a gift for Liam’s 6th birthday party, I stumbled upon a Playmobil pirate boat. Many images of how we could style the pirate themed party kit suddenly popped into my mind.
We wanted to create a story with this party kit - the story of two pirate boats battling for the treasure chest. That’s why we used this treasure chest as a centerpiece.
The great thing about this pirate themed party kit is that you can be creative and fill the treasure chest with all the goodies that kids will love! During the party, you can host several games and the winner (winning pirate boat) can go home with that treasure chest as a prize!
We made sure that no kid will leave your party empty-handed. Each one of them can be given this cute black treasure chest which includes a telescope (it really works!), gold coins, pirate tattoos and also an eye patch!
We know that the kids will LOVE this lootbag, even your guest of honor. For this reason, we thought it would also be a good idea to include a special gift - from us - for your guest of honor (courtesy of Pop and Confetti ^_^).
You may notice that in this party kit, we’ve included two tablecloths: black and blue to recreate the water. Let your imagination run wild and use any props you already have to style your table. We’ve taken care of the basic so that you can focus on adding your personal touch.
We hope this party kit has inspired you for your next party. Good luck! :)
